Even though Melanie could have had her car seat turned around at her 1st birthday, I decided to keep her rear-facing a little longer since it's supposedly much safer for kids. But she is 15 months now, and no longer fit facing backwards when she wears her 'big girl' sneakers..but more importantly, it just felt like 'time'.
She was so surprised when I first put her in the forward-facing seat! I think she liked being able to see me better, not to mention the additional leg room!
